a) Mesh safety covers
Are lightweight with ease of installation and removal, need no cleaning and last for years.
There are 3 levels of Mesh Safety Covers.
So when shopping each of these have a different price point.

b) The other alternative: Solid Safety Covers
They come 2 ways mesh drains or with pumps.
Pumps are extra bue enable no rain water with variable ph’s arid rain to enter the pool this is perfect for the meticulous gunite pool owner.
a) High wind or waterfront properties
Standard rectangle covers come in 5ft by 5ft panels. The tie down straps are anywhere from 4-6ft apart. On heavy wind applications where covers will bounce up and down this will cause premature wear so to protect your investment
upgrade to 3 per 3 panels or add our perimeter padding.
b) Obstructions
Remember the covers are designed with a twelve inch overlap so slides, dive rocks, raised ladder cups, etc. need to be addressed so the covers fit tight.
c) Pool surfaces and anchors
As many new products have entered the pool patio world remember this: the stronger the surface ie: concrete, the stronger the cover.
If you have pavers set in gravel or sand or any loose stone, patio blocks then you should consider adding our aluminum extended tubes. As snow accumulates on the cover the anchors if not in aluminum extended tubes will move your bricks, pavers etc. There is nothing worse than spending $10,000 plus dollars on a new patio and in one or two winters have large gaps between the pavers or even worse, lifting them up and out. You must use aluminum extended tubes to prevent this.
HINT: In Our opinion do not use wood deck anchors.
Try to drill into the board with beams below and use regular anchors. You might have to make them a little crooked but they are much stronger. Please call us today with any questions. |
d) Material colors
Green with a black stripe are standard but blue, gray or black can be ordered for an option price. Call our office for more information on material colors.
